Thursday 18th    -   The Vyne

The Vynes nine hectares consists of two lakes, a walled garden, formal garden and meadow along with lawns and a herbaceous border. The Vynes pre-Reformation chapel showcases the earliest depiction of Henry VIII in stained glass. Explore the opulent state rooms and humble servants’ quarters. A Tudor roundel that emulates the style and grandeur of the ancient world. Enjoy a light lunch at the Café.

Tuesday 23rd   -   Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum

As the first in the UK, founded in 1621, Oxford Botanic Garden occupies a world-class position in terms of its history and academic location. After having lunch at the café, we will assemble and go to Harcourt Arboretum, a 15-minute drive from Oxford, which contains some of the finest conifer collections in the UK set within 130 acres of historic picturesque landscape.

Thursday 25th   –   Worthing Beach

We’re going to the seaside!  Surrounded by quality cafés, together with the sights and sounds of the nearby beach, really give Worthing that holiday feeling!  Take a stroll to visit the nearby Worthing Museum and Gallery that holds one of the most significant costume collections in the UK, as well as notable collections in fine and decorative arts, social history, toys, dolls and archaeology.

Departure:  9:30am                      Return: 4:00pm                              Cost = £15.50

 

Tuesday 30th  -   Marlow

Situated on a beautiful stretch of the River Thames, midway between Reading and Windsor,

Marlow offers both tranquil riverside walks and a centre vibrant with fantastic shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. The town’s most famous landmark is the suspension bridge which spans the River Thames and joins the counties of Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Marlow is rich in history, reflected in its Georgian and Victorian architecture, and is a popular tourist destination with its pretty High Street, parks and gardens.

Departure: 10:00am               Return: 3:30pm                                    Cost = £11.00
