Holiday driver
- Role description:
Driving a Minibus or other accessible vehicle, carrying people with special requirements to their holiday destination. This may include wheelchair users, adults or children with disabilities or special needs, and people with particular transport requirements. Destinations can be long or medium distance (50 – 100+ miles), within mainland UK and may include air and sea ports. Some lifting will be involved; equipment and luggage.
- Skills/qualifications required by volunteer:
Must hold a full clean UK driving licence (some endorsements can be considered) for a minimum of two years. Must be minimum 25 years old. A MiDAS certificate and CRB check is required although full training can be given. Some light lifting may be involved.
